About
Our School
Bethany Lutheran is a transitional kindergarten program that helps ease the transition from preschool to elementary school, in a small group setting.
Our diverse, S.T.E.A.M. centered program, is committed to developing the whole child (academic, social, emotional) through extraordinary teaching, exceptional academic curriculum, and a nurturing faith-based community. We empower students to be critical thinkers, inspired innovators, engaged peers, and ethical leaders prepared with the confidence to thrive in a dynamic world.

Directors Welcome
Greetings, Bethany Bobcats!
It is my pleasure to welcome your family to BLPS, I'm so happy that you found us. We are all excited to have students back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. It is our mission to help every child feel welcomed and connected here at Bethany Lutheran. At BLPS we believe that each child is a child of God with unique patterns and timing of growth. Our seasoned teachers spend hours planning and creating classroom activities to engage our students in learning.
I am honored to serve as the director of Bethany Lutheran Preschool and Kindergarten. It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers and students care for each other and strive to do their best each day. Please feel free to contact me at 703-765-8687 or at preschool@bethany-lcms.org.
Once again, welcome! We're so glad you're here!
Sincerely,
Danielle Peeling

Mission
Our Kindergarten program is rooted in foundational learning with an emphasis in S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). We believe in providing our students with experiential learning opportunities that encourage thoughtful questioning and personal engagement. Through our inquiry-based approach, we strive to foster our students’ natural curiosity and develop their lifelong love of learning.
We intentionally keep our class sizes small to nurture each child’s academic, social, and emotional growth. Students feel safe and cared for in such an environment, and as a result, we see them thrive.
